These are great glass containers and the sculptured designs are nice. We constantly use the three different sizes. I have ten of these bowls in my kitchen. Buy them.
These bowls are great. I use them for so many things. I use these bowls for mixing batter, serving foods, mashing potatoes, warming up stuff (in the microwave or oven), storing leftovers, mixing/serving salad, anything. They are really multi-use items which are great.
This item was a gift to a young couple celebrating their glass anniversary. It is a practical gift because of it being pyrex.
It's so nice to make a salad in the large bowl, put the lid on and just through it in the fridge. Absolutely the best bowls you will ever OWN. The also make very good mixing bowls. I bought 2 sets of these last Christmas and still going strong like the first day we had them. We have put them in the fridge, freezer and microwave and no problems what so ever. We never had a problem with the lids warping or disfigured from heat. Still just like day one.
(tupperware and rubber maid)They're great for storing leftovers,but I've read so much about microwaving in plastic, and how chemicals from the plastic may get into your food. These bowls are great. I decided to get glass bowls so I can heat my leftovers without the worry. Just what I was expecting. Most of my bowls are plastic. These bowls are practical and pretty. They also stack so they don't take up much room.
